Handmade in Canada, Nova Scotia by Grohmann. They are known for their top quality knives which are produced with as many as 53 steps between starting point & finished product.

Slicers are typically known for their ability to cut in a single stroke roasts without shredding or tearing; turkey, briskets, hams, fish and others. They are also used for a variety of tasks such as cutting large fruits, vegetables, loaves and even cakes. Also ideal for  carving as they are thinner and longer than a chef's knife, the blade allow you to slice thin without tearing, preserving your food for perfect presentation.
